PawPal is a conceptual iOS app designed to simplify everyday life for dog owners by connecting them with trusted local dog walkers. Beyond booking, the experience brings together pet management, educational content, and personalized recommendations to create a product that supports users before, during, and after every walk.

Explore the complete booking journey through a prototype showcasing the app’s core interactions and native iOS experience.

Trusted Booking: From scheduling a walk to selecting the right dog walker, PawPal guides users through a simple and transparent booking experience. Detailed walker profiles, ratings, reviews, and pricing help users make informed decisions before confirming a booking.

Booking Confirmation: Before confirming a booking, users can review all important details in one place, including schedule, selected pets, and booking preferences. A clear confirmation screen provides reassurance and helpful reminders before the walk begins.

Seamless Communication: Built-in messaging keeps dog owners and walkers connected throughout the entire experience. Whether confirming booking details or sharing updates, communication remains simple, direct, and within the app.

Personalized Pet Management: Each pet has a dedicated profile containing health information, preferences, and care notes. Keeping everything in one place makes every booking more personal while helping walkers better understand each dog’s individual needs.

Smart Recommendations: PawPal extends beyond booking by providing weather-aware walking advice, educational insights, and recommendations for nearby dog-friendly places. These personalized suggestions help owners make safer decisions and discover new places to enjoy with their dogs.

Learning Beyond the Walk: PawPal includes a library of articles covering dog care, health, lifestyle, and activities to support owners beyond scheduled walks. Educational content encourages long-term engagement while helping users provide better everyday care for their pets.

Initial hand-drawn sketches were created to quickly explore different layouts, navigation patterns, and feature placement. Sketching multiple concepts before moving into Figma made it easier to evaluate ideas and iterate on the overall user experience.

After identifying the strongest concepts, the app structure was organized into a clear information architecture. Mapping the navigation and key user flows established a solid foundation for the low-fidelity wireframes and ensured a logical journey throughout the application.
Throughout the design process, I continuously refined layouts, information hierarchy, and user flows to create a more intuitive experience. Rather than focusing only on visual polish, each iteration aimed to simplify interactions and prioritize the information users need most.

Booking Experience: Wireframe → Final
Challenge
The initial concept presented scheduling as a traditional form, making it difficult to understand the overall booking journey.
Evolution
The experience evolved into a guided, step-by-step flow with clear progress indicators, contextual map exploration, and a structured decision-making process.

User Profile: Wireframe → Final
Challenge
The original profile focused primarily on account management, placing editable information ahead of everyday tasks.
Evolution
The final design prioritizes identity, pet management, and quick access to frequently used information, creating a more personal and actionable dashboard.

Pet Profile: Wireframe → Final
Challenge
The first version relied on long forms and text-heavy layouts that required more effort to scan.
Evolution
The final design organizes care information into clear sections, tags, and visual summaries, making important details easier for both owners and walkers to access.
